Description: we are going to walk the path of the hills to reach the famous Piazzale Michelangelo, where you can admire a magnificent view, the view embraces the heart of Florence from Forte Belvedere to Santa Croce and bridges through the banks of the Arno in Florence in sequence, especially the Ponte Vecchio, stand the Cathedral, the Palazzo Vecchio, the Bargello and the octagonal bell tower of the Badia Fiorentina, not to mention the opposing hills north of the city center and Fiesole Settignano. On the central square is situated the Church of San Miniato. The construction of the church began in 1013 under Bishop Alibrando and continued under Emperor Henry II. At first it was a Benedictine monastery, and then joined the congregation in 1373 to the Cluniac Olivetana, who still lives there. The monks produce famous liqueurs, honey and herbal teas, they sell in a shop adjacent to the church.
